Dr Wilson is an anaesthetist with close to 30-years’ experience across 3 continents and has worked at the Mater Private Hospital Mackay since 2011. He has recently been elected Chair of the Mackay Anaesthetic Group and is a strategic and professional leader who uses data to drive efficiencies in decision making linked to his professional practice.
Dr Wilson is looking forward to working with Dr Daveson to grow the Coral Sea Clinical
Research Institute and to participating in research activities that gives regional
patients access to clinical trials and treatments that they would otherwise not have
access to.
Dr Wilson has also recently earned his Master of Business Administration in Healthcare
from Southern Cross University and these newly acquired skills will be valuable in
his new role with CSCRI.
